　　The spirit of karunā is the core of Buddhist theory. Kara is a practical method in Mahayana. In the time of great path, karunā is even regarded as the Buddha nature. By promoting it to the position of Buddha nature, it shows the great path through which a Buddhist pays great attention to karun?ā. The appearance of the thought of karunā directly leads to the dominance of the bodhisattva belief. The story of bodhisattva is welcomed and confirmed by common people. The special four  bodhisattva belief in Chinese Buddhism is a good explanation to this concept.
